Spiritual Therapy
Christians facing difficult situations today can take comfort in Jeremiah 29:11 knowing that it is not a promise to immediately rescue us from hardship or suffering, but rather a promise that God has a plan for our lives and regardless of our current situation, He can work through it to prosper us and give us a hope. Sometimes we need to be reminded that we are never alone and do not have to go through our struggles alone.
At certain times in our lives we may have experienced something or someone that left us feeling unloved. In these times of despair on might hear: “my spirit is broken. I am in such a dark space” Even God has abandoned me.” These traumatic and overwhelming experiences often cause a level of fear, guilt, shame, grief, isolation and loneliness that leaves the individual feeling anger towards God and alienation from God. It is at these times that one feels a loss of faith, meaning, identity, purpose and esteem. Many have characterized this mental space as dark, hopeless and filled with despair. It is at this time that it is most critical that spiritual intervention and renewing of the mind is necessary. We offer spiritual guidance with logotherapeutic approach aimed at helping the individual gain meaning in life and new perspectives. This unique integration of spirituality and mental health offered at Ivolve me is careful to show empathy and compassion and validate the individual when appropriate on the journey to deeper spiritual understanding. With consent of the client ordained clergy can be added to a session(s) to help you answer questions that require deeper spiritual clarification and processing in order to restore the soul.
